Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an Equipment Mechanic in Ukiah. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining PG&E vehicles and equipment, with duties including inspection, troubleshooting, and component replacement.

This is a union-represented position (IBEW Local 1245) with a schedule that may include evenings and weekends and requires DOT screening. Starting wage is $65.27 per hour, and the job is onsite in the North Coast region.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid Class A California Driver's License Permit and DMV Medical Card by Day 1.
• 4+ years of journey-level experience with light/medium/heavy-duty equipment.

Responsabilités

• Diagnostics: inspect vehicles/equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems; reference manuals and service bulletins.
• Repairs/Rebuilds: disassemble, replace worn parts, perform electrical repairs and tune-ups.
• Maintenance: conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on mobile equipment.
