EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to support Wasatch Electric in Carson City, NV.

The role focuses on repair and maintenance of heavy construction equipment and vehicles at the shop, with travel as needed to service a range of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, diesel/gas engine experience, hydraulics, electrical and welding skills, and a good driving record; DOT medical exam compliance is required.

Job Summary

The Position:Wasatch Electric is accepting applications for an Equipment Mechanic to assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy construction equipment and vehicles at our Carson City shop location. Must be able to travel and be familiar with all types of construction equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with the repair and maintenance of diesel and gasoline powered heavy equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrates mechanic skills/experience-specific to heavy equipment
• Basic hydraulics, electrical and welding skills
• Dependable work schedule shift
• Good driving record, ability to pass DOT medical exam
• CDL License preferred
• Knowledge of electric over hydraulic systems
• Welding capabilities
