Job summary

MasTec Utility Services is seeking an Equipment Manager to order and maintain field equipment used by Data Center crews and field personnel. You will support the Field team and collaborate with multiple departments to keep projects moving.

The role requires 3 years of equipment maintenance experience and a strong ability to perform repairs, with knowledge of fleet management and regulatory compliance. This position is office-based with field duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of equipment operator or maintenance experience.
• Tooling experience required.
• Ability to perform minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain the fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Keep up with DOT requirements regarding dielectric testing and IFTA stickers, changing equipment out as needed.
• Complete tag and title work.
• Take calls related to equipment problems in the field and prioritize jobs to dispatch mechanics to the jobsite to fix them.
• Collect quotes, gain approvals, and order equipment when needed.
