Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our fab team. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance and troubleshooting on semiconductor processing equipment, ensuring uptime and optimal performance.

You will work with AMAT Endura/Centura, ULVAC, Lam 4420 systems, follow procedures, document activities, and collaborate with peers. The position requires at least 2 years hands-on experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; shifts run days.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Experience with Thin Film/Implant, Photo, CVD/Diffusion processes is a plus.
  • Basic math and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Maintain and repair tools such as AMAT Endura (PVD), AMAT Centura, ULVAC, Lam 4420.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure equipment uptime and performance.
  • Willing to learn and perform maintenance in other Fab areas.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude in the workplace and demonstrate strong technical expertise in equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Maintain and repair tools such as AMAT Endura (PVD), AMAT Centura, ULVAC, Lam 4420, etc.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal equipment performance and uptime.
  • Willing to learn and perform maintenance in other areas of the Fab as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Maintenance knowledge specific to Thin Film/Implant, Photo, CVD/Diffusion processes and equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow written procedures, both on paper and a computer monitor, and ability to respond to verbal directions accurately and efficiently.
  • Basic personal computer and keyboarding skills for the accurate input of data.
  • Basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting ability.
  • Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing, and calculating averages/percentages.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, crouch continuously throughout a 12-hour shift.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs frequently.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to see colors (yellow, orange, red, blue, purple, green, white) and flashing alarms.
  • Ability to hear and respond immediately to equipment alarms.

Shift: Days (Sun, Mon, Tues + alt Wed) 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $29 to $37. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
