Tucson Medical Center is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Tech to support the hospital's mechanical systems across campus. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, sterilization, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment, ensuring safety and reliability.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED plus HVAC trade training or equivalent experience, and a minimum of five years in low voltage control systems.

Maintains freestanding mechanical equipment such as sterilization, refrigeration and kitchen equipment throughout the hospital and campus.
Exhibits excellence in customer service through appropriate attitude and interaction with all patients, visitors and staff.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety and confidentiality policies and standards.
Performs preventative, corrective and improvement maintenance on a variety of mechanical devices including but not limited to refrigeration equipment, pumps, air compressors, sterilization equipment, kitchen equipment and HVAC equipment.
Operates and maintains a wide variety of power and hand tools.
Responds to all support requests from Building Maintenance Technician; coordinates and schedules work activities with customers and co-workers to ensure timely, quality resolution.
Supports quality improvement initiatives through team participation, data collection, process change implementations, and other activities.
Performs related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED, two (2) years technical trade school in HVAC, or other mechanical trade, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years in low voltage control systems.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: TMCH Tug Licensure required with 30 days of hire. Ability to obtain refrigeration transition and recovery certificate within 90 days of hire preferred.
