Compensation

Job Summary

The Equipment Intern will be responsible for providing support to the organization and Equipment department through learning business practices along the way.

Main Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Assist with preventative maintenance workflows, scheduling and basic inspection
• Equipment Tracking & Documentation: Review and maintain accurate digital and physical logs for shop repairs, field service calls, and any maintenance
• Provide clerical and administrative support for the department
• Work on special projects as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Work Experience

• Must be actively working towards a college degree

Skills

• Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively and be flexible
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and analyze data
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must have the ability to work well with all levels of the organization

Physical Requirements

• Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require
• Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise
• Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
• Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction
