Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an entry-level professional to maintain and support information systems for the Equipment department. The role involves hands-on work with SharePoint, asset master files, and configuring new tools to aid field operations.

Strong communication, organization, and a customer-service mindset are essential. The position includes collaboration within Equipment Administration and adherence to regulatory standards while building practical skills in a dynamic construction

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field at a 4-year university.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Some experience with SharePoint, Oracle or SAP ERP, Microsoft Visual Studio, and/or .Net is a plus.

General Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting information systems processes for the company’s Equipment systems to ensure consistency with company objectives and policies.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Assisting in the maintenance of the Equipment Department SharePoint site
• Work with the Equipment Administration group to maintain asset master files
• Assist in the configuration of new applications to support field operations
• Research user questions and issues to provide feedback to users
• Convert paper files to electronic format while ensuring compliance with local, State and Federal regulatory agencies.

Education

Enrolled in an Engineering or Information Systems Management undergraduate program or a related educational program at an accredited 4 year university

• Problem solving capabilities necessary to accomplish the duties and tasks of the Position

Base Hourly Wage Range:

Hourly: $22.00 $30.00 Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
