Job summary

Kite Pharma is seeking a motivated Process Engineer II to join the Equipment Engineering team at our Frederick, MD state‑of‑the‑art cell therapy manufacturing facility. You will support operation and lifecycle management of manufacturing and lab equipment, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Bio/Mechanical) or similar.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience in biotech/pharma/medical devices or related regulated industry.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and lifecycle management of manufacturing, lab, and facility equipment.
• Serve as Technical Owner of equipment within the Enterprise Asset Management System.
• Lead equipment investigations, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Analyze failures and performance trends to identify reliability opportunities.
• Assist with CAPAs, change controls, and qualification of new equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment reliability and compliance.
