Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking an Equipment Engineer to maintain and manage Wafer equipment at its Cartersville, GA facility. The role focuses on improving processing machines and supporting the Maintenance & Development team to ensure smooth facility operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within semiconductor or photovoltaic settings, with strong electrical/mechanical knowledge and license eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in equipment maintenance management and production-related fields.
• Experience in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industry.
• Electrical and mechanical license holders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Experience in automation-related industries.
• Bilingual in Chinese or Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tasks related to equipment maintenance
• Support equipment inspection regularly based on the progress and schedule of operations
• Manage the installation and operation of new equipment
• Assist in the equipment improvement project progress and management
• Manage the inventory and usage of spare parts for equipment
• Prepare reports for scheduled meetings
• Perform other related duties as assigned
