Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Global Equipment Owner (GEO) for one or more manufacturing equipment types used across the network.
- Monitor performance across the network for early identification of trends and improvement opportunities.
- Work with site owners to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with site and enterprise SMEs to develop strategies to improve equipment and process performance & reliability.
- Lead matrix team to define equipment improvement roadmap and deliver projects according to the roadmap.
- Gain technical expertise related to function and performance of the equipment type.
- Serve as a Business Process Owner for a manufacturing process area across multiple sites within the internal network, partnering with site owners and functional experts to increase manufacturing performance across the network.
- Identify best practices and improvement opportunities and facilitate rollout of these to the network.
- Partner with CT Drug Product Operations Data Analytics & site teams to implement models and analytic tools to form a standard CTGM manufacturing performance suite of analytics to deliver CTGM goals.
- Support and lead conceptual studies to evaluate implementation of new technologies, processes, and ways of working into the internal network, to model the impacts on KPIs such as turnaround time and cost of goods.
- Maintain network technical roadmap.

- Serve as a Business Process Owner for a manufacturing process area across multiple sites within the internal network, partnering with site owners and functional experts to increase manufacturing performance across the network.
- Validation background is a plus (software validation background).
- The CTDO Global Manufacturing Equipment Engineering network-based will be a key member of the Cell Therapy Technical Operations (CTTO) Engineering, Digital & analytical team (MEDA) and the Global automation team.
- This individual will be responsible for owning a manufacturing equipment to drive equipment robustness and reduce quality events, managing timelines, risk, site POC, communicating status, and being accountable for working with vendors, BMS site SMEs to improve equipment operations.
- The work will be technical in nature, will support qualification of software on Xuri bioreactors and will focus on network implementation in aligned consistent manner.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, master's degree with 3 years, PhD with 2 years. Degree in field of Engineering (Mechanical, Bioprocess Engineer).
Travel Requirements
10% travel requirement to other BMS sites (New Jersey & Seattle).
Work Location
Devens, MA is preferred site. Summit, NJ is second option.
Hybrid
50% onsite requirement (Note: There will be some weeks where 100% onsite is required).
Core Business Hours
Mon - Fri: Core business hours.
