Job summary

Empire MG Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections and prepare equipment for delivery. You will operate vehicles to transport equipment between dealer facilities and to customers, and may instruct customers on basic operating procedures.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and experience operating vehicles and equipment. Teamwork and safety consciousness are essential in a dynamic dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience operating vehicles and equipment used in machinery maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in heavy equipment.
• Proficient with basic computer functions; Service ADVISOR experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skill development.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Transports equipment to/from customers and between dealer facilities.
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains signatures and receipts.
• Accounts for all time and distance traveled in performing duties.
• Maintains assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition.
