Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support trench safety branch operations. You will help assemble, load, and prepare equipment for rental, perform safety checks, and assist customers with inquiries. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to learn. Forklift experience is preferred; PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Some knowledge of computers and phone apps; strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Greet customers and assist with customer inquiries about equipment.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
