Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations and provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff, and other personnel. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork as you inspect, prepare, and move rental equipment within the branch and for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skills.
• Diligent attention to safety and superior customer service.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level on return.
• Inspect safety decals and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Clean and maintain a clean work area.
• Load/unload rental equipment and prepare it for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment and drive a delivery truck for pickup/drop-off.
