Job summary

United Rentals in Slidell, LA, is seeking a safety‑minded associate to assemble, load, unload, and prepare equipment for rental. You will check equipment safety, verify delivery tickets, and assist customers with inquiries about gear and capabilities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and computer/app familiarity. PPE and boots provided; lifting up to 45 lbs is routine. This position is safety sensitive and requires a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is a plus but not required.
• Some knowledge of computers and phone apps.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.
• Ability to lift items up to 45 lbs frequently.
• PPE and work boots provided by the company.
