United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Associate to support service technicians, sales staff, and branch personnel at a United Rentals location in Texas.

You will perform manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation and provide labor assistance to teams serving customers. Key tasks include repairing mats in high temperatures, transporting equipment safely, staging and loading rental gear, and assisting with ladder and cargo handling.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repair mats in high temperatures.
• Climb on and off and transport heavy equipment safely in the yard.
• Stage and load rental equipment (chains up to 10 ft and binders up to 15 lbs, up to 40 chains daily).
• Carry ladders and equipment to access delivery bed (up to 15 ft).
• Bend, crawl, kneel or lay on deck to tie down equipment, among other duties.

As an Equipment Associate at United Rentals, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth branch operation. Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers. What you’ll do:

• Repair mats in high temperatures
• Climb on and off and transport heavy equipment safely in the yard
• Stage and load rental equipment (which may require obtaining chains measuring 10 feet and/or binders weighing 15 pounds each from truck storage rack (up to 40 chains per day))
• Carrying up to 15 feet or portable truck ladder to access delivery bed
• Require bending, crawling, kneeling or laying on deck to tie down equipment, among other duties

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
