Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate in Kentucky to support trench safety branch operations. You will assist with assembling, loading, unloading and preparing equipment for rental, while ensuring safety and accuracy of delivery and returns.

The role emphasizes teamwork and customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will perform routine safety checks, help customers, and suggest equipment to meet needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred
• Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required
• Some knowledge of computers and phone apps
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
• Diligent attention to safety
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• PPE and work boots are provided by the company
• This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
