Job summary

Piedmont Equine Associates is seeking an Equine Veterinary Technician to support a fast-paced, multi-doctor hospital. You will assist clinicians with exams, procedures and surgery while delivering outstanding patient care and client service on-site.

Ideal candidates will have on-site presence, strong communication and teamwork, and a commitment to professional growth. State licensure as a Veterinary Technician is required or credentialed experience considered for senior roles.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure as a Veterinary Technician in good standing.
• On-site presence is essential due to hospital operations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and strong work ethic are required.
• Prior experience preferred; willingness to work flexible hours.
• Applicants without credentialed status may be placed in senior assistant roles or related positions.

Description

Our hospital is seeking an Equine Veterinary Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Equine Veterinary Technician assist clinicians with exams, procedures and surgery. The Equine Veterinary Technician will work closely with the veterinarians and technicians to help ensure all patients receive proper care and treatment.

Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours.

• Can work individually, as well as on a team
• Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and working harmoniously with team mates is required
• Prior experience preferred
• This position requires regular on-site presence as an essential function of the role.
