We are looking for askilled equine surgeonto join our progressive and experienced veterinary team at Desert Pines Equine Medical & Surgical Center. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse caseload and should be comfortable and proficient with elective and emergency surgeries.

Desert Pines issouthern Nevada’s only full-service primary care, referral and emergency equine hospital. We provide sports medicine, surgery, internal medicine, reproduction, preventive care, ambulatory, emergency and critical care services. We work as a collaborative group of veterinarians who share a common passion for the horse. Our mission is to provide professional, high-quality, progressive medicine with compassionate care and excellent customer service for our clients and their horses.

Ourseven-doctor practiceincludes a surgeon, an internist, and excellent support staff. We service athriving equine communitybeyond the glow of the neon lights of Las Vegas, with adiverse horse populationcompeting in events such as show jumping, dressage, eventing, racing, western pleasure, western cow-horse, cutting, and rodeo. Desert Pines is the Preferred Provider at the South Point Equestrian Center, who plays host toevents 40 weeks out of the year.The practice has served as the official veterinarians for theNational Finals Rodeosince 1985, as well as at major events including the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup and the Las Vegas National Horse Show.

Ourstate-of-the-art facilitiesinclude two large exam/treatment rooms, ICU stalls, a hospitalization barn, and a surgical suite, and is well supported with a full range of diagnostics and imaging equipment. Expansion is on the horizon at Desert Pines, including an additional barn and nuclear scintigraphy facility – join us as we move forward with expansion and come grow with the practice.
