Job summary

The University of New Hampshire's Equine Facility in Durham is seeking reliable Stable Crew members to care for our 30+ horses. On-the-Job training is provided for all duties, with advancement opportunities available.

Expect 30–40 hours per week during the summer break, with hands-on work in stalls, paddocks, feeding, and facility maintenance. Applicants should be motivated, willing to learn, and comfortable around horses; knowledge is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge and experience working with horses helpful but not required.
• Horse handling experience preferred.

• Vehicle Driving Clearance and Operation
• Advanced Horse Handling and Grooming
• Advanced Herd Care and Basic Medical Care
• Leadership Opportunities for Tier 3 Staff Members.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Some knowledge and experience working with horses helpful but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Horse handling experience.
