Job summary

Liberty Mountain Equestrian Center is seeking an Equestrian Operations Attendant to support daily facility operations, ensure guest safety, and maintain cleanliness during all posted hours. You will assist with feeding, grooming, turnout, and routine maintenance under the supervision of the Campus Recreation management.

This position requires current Liberty University student status, CPR/First Aid, and horse experience.

Qualifications

Current Liberty University student is required.
CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required.
Prior horse experience (ownership, stable work and/or professional equine experience) required.
Ability to work up to 18 hours per week.
Availability to work a variety of different shifts (weekends, early morning, afternoon, late night).

Responsibilities

Ensure customer safety and facility cleanliness during operational hours.
Communicate issues to the Equestrian Center Manager on shift.
Assist with feeding, watering, grooming, and turning out horses as directed.
Maintain clean restrooms and public spaces; stock supplies.
Assist with maintenance of equipment and facilities; support events and operations, including evenings/weekends.
Work as a team member and support Campus Recreation operations.
