Job summary

Meet Life Sciences in San Diego, CA seeks a Document Control & Technical Writing Lead to own the eQMS and document control processes. You will drive MasterControl administration and ensure documentation stays compliant, traceable, and inspection-ready.

You will partner with Quality, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, deliver accurate records, and provide training on MasterControl and related documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Document Control or Quality Systems.
• Hands-on MasterControl administration.
• Regulated life sciences environment knowledge (medical device, biotech, pharma).
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 11, GMP/GxP.

Responsibilities

• Own MasterControl administration and SME for the team.
• Manage document control workflows and controlled records.
• Configure, validate, test, and improve the eQMS.
• Support audits and inspection readiness.
• Develop QMS dashboards and reports.
• Train employees on MasterControl and processes.
• Support technical writing of engineering protocols and reports.
