Job summary

West Coast Energy Systems LLC is seeking qualified technicians to service and repair emergency power supply systems (EPSS). You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and perform scheduled maintenance for generators, including after-hours calls as needed.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Commissioning work and report writing are included.

Qualifications

• 4 years servicing and troubleshooting EPSS, with hands-on repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, electrical circuitry and control wiring.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and work orders to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Excellent troubleshooting, reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of generators.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during on-call hours as directed.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on generators.
• Read electrical schematics and manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Create FieldServio reports detailing work performed within 24 hours.
• Commission equipment for industrial and MPS products.
• Maintain knowledge of NFPA and state EPSS regulations.
