Job summary

Roeslein Renewables, a division of Roeslein & Associates, seeks an EPS Compliance Specialist to ensure renewable gas compliance and to register new projects under program regulations. You will analyze data to support decision making and shape operational strategy execution.

The role involves onboarding new projects, EPA/CARB pathway documentation, and monitoring permits to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local requirements. Strong Excel and data-analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, environmental science, or related field or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of work experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand technical information.
  • Computer skills and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs are required.
  • Highly proficient in Excel use, pivot tables, etc.
  • Ability to manage and analyze data and present summarized reports.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple monthly tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Effective time management skills, and flexibility.
  • Professional personal conduct.
  • Must have a valid driver license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record report.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in onboarding registration efforts for new projects within the framework of renewable energy programs.
  • Assist with gathering and submitting all necessary documentation for EPA/CARB pathway certification for new RNG plants and dispensing plans.
  • Assist in ensuring that current projects meet all renewable gas compliance requirements. Including federal, state, and local regulatory requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to these.
  • Monitor applicable regulatory permits (air permits, among others).
  • Prepare annual fuel pathway documentation.
  • Prepare various reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data including tracking inventory populations and monitoring calibration records for projects.
  • Query, filter, organize and summarize extensive amount of data to support participation in renewable energy programs.
  • Provide data to populate key performance indicators (KPI) website.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
  • Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY:
