Job summary

Ellsworth Corporation in Mosinee, WI is seeking a Part-time ePlus Field Inventory Specialist to monitor and maintain inventory levels at assigned customer locations using Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) software. This is a part-time position for approximately 10 hours a week.

You will monitor inventory, perform FIFO-based transactions, validate shipments, run cycle counts, and collaborate with customers and teammates to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training.
• Must work well independently and manage own time effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at various levels internally and externally.
• Maintains confidentiality while balancing customer specific requirements.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle access; may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs inventory transactions following FIFO for lot controlled and non-lot controlled items.
• Validates inbound shipments against pack slips; completes receipt and puts away in customer storage.
• Reviews shelf-life reports and communicates issues; scraps material when needed.
• Performs and reconciles cycle counts; compares VMI to actual inventory on hand.
• Interacts with customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and issues.
• Maintains account attribute master documents and understands consignments.

You will monitor and maintain inventory levels at assigned customer locations utilizing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) software. Performs periodic reviews of product lot and shelf-life information to ensure proper inventory rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) and scrap mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs inventory transactions for lot controlled and non-lot-controlled inventory following FIFO methods while understanding the difference between Manufacturer and internal lot numbers
• Validates inbound shipment against pack slip and open receipt. Completes processing of receipt VMI and performs put away in designated customer inventory storage locations
• Reviews shelf-life reports and communicates potential issues with team members and/or customers. Scraps material out when appropriate and follows customer specified disposal procedures
• Performs and reconciles cycle counts to compare VMI inventory to actual inventory on hand
• Proactively seeks out and interacts with key customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and potential impact on inventory levels. Identifies and troubleshoots onsite issues and works collaboratively to resolve, escalating when necessary
• Maintains Account Attribute master document for each customer location. Edits document based on changes in the account / location relationship. When required, understands differences between consigned and non-consigned inventory at a customer(s) location

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
• High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
• Must work well independently and manage own time effectively

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use throughout assigned territory
• Must maintain current automobile insurance that meets Ellsworth policy requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• May require extended periods of walking and standing.
• May require working outdoors depending on customer inventory storage requirements
• Up to daily travel within the assigned customers
