Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine seek a board-certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology to join the Department of Neurology.

The team includes fellowship-trained epileptologists and epilepsy neurosurgeons in a NAEC Level 4 center, offering opportunities in education, research, and comprehensive patient care in a leading academic health system in central Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree.
• BC/BE Neurology with Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship. BC/BE Epilepsy preferred.
• Clinical epilepsy expertise and interest in developing a focus area (e.g., surgical epilepsy program, intra-operative monitoring, outpatient epilepsy).
• Experience with pharmacological management of epilepsy, video-EEG monitoring, intracranial monitoring, and neurostimulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive epilepsy care within a NAEC Level 4 Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.
• Collaborate with epileptologists, epilepsy neurosurgeons, and education teams.
• Engage in medical student, resident, and fellow education and participate in research initiatives.
