Job summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a faculty member for the Division of Epilepsy. The position requires completion of at least two years of epilepsy fellowship and extensive experience in adult patients, including those with drug-resistant epilepsy.

Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent and be board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years of epilepsy fellowship and have significant experience in adult patients, including those with drug-resistant epilepsy.
• Must have an MD or equivalent and board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• Prior experience or a primary interest in education or genetics / clinical trials is encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Join the epilepsy division within the Department of Neurology, collaborating with neurophysiologists, neuroradiologists, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, EEG technicians, and epilepsy care teams.
• Contribute to clinical care, teaching, and potential clinical trials within a level 4 epilepsy center.
