Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Neurology seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our Epilepsy Division.

You will collaborate with colleagues, teach students, perform EEG studies, and participate in an epilepsy surgery program while pursuing academic appointments.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology
• Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong interest in education and mentorship
• Commitment to excellent patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, APPs and fellows
• Perform and interpret EEG/cEEG/aEEG studies
• Monitor patients in a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (adults and peds)
• Participate in a strong Epilepsy Surgery Program
• Explore plentiful bench or clinical research opportunities
