Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Epilepsy Program focusing on tumor-related epilepsy. You will work within a nationally recognized multidisciplinary neurosciences team delivering comprehensive care across the continuum.

The APP will collaborate with epileptologists, neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, and radiation oncologists to provide patient-centered treatments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or PA program.
• Current IL RN license and IL APRN license or PA license.
• Licensed/credentialed through NM MSO Credentialing.
• BLS certification from AHA.

Responsabilités

• Manage epilepsy in patients with brain tumors.
• Evaluate seizures and antiseizure therapy.
• Conduct health assessments and exams.
• Provide direct clinical care and education to patients and families.
• Prescribe medications and order tests within privileges.
• Collaborate with neurology and oncology colleagues.
• Participate in quality improvement and research.
