Job summary

Mass General Brigham’s Infectious Disease Division at The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Research Assistant II to support epidemiological studies and population-based research, not related to trials or labs. This role also assists with reporting and developing new proposals, and will train and orient staff.

The position emphasizes data collection, management, analysis, and reporting; cohort management; and outreach communications with subjects, plus preparation of progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in science required.
• 1–2 years of relevant research and data management experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Intermediate computer literacy with database tools.

Responsibilities

• Data collection, management, manipulation, analysis and reporting.
• Study cohort management.
• Outreach communication with subjects, mailings and follow-ups.
