Job summary

Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) invites you to join NAMRU-D in Dayton, Ohio, as a fellowship participant. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to study aeromedical needs, health and human performance in US Naval aviation.

Under a mentor, you will collect, analyze, and model epidemiological data; conduct laboratory and field data collections; design experiments; and share findings through publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Pursuing or have B.S./M.S. in public health, epidemiology, or STEM.
• Degree expected by Jan 1, 2027 if currently pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Participate with an interdisciplinary team investigating aeromedical needs and health and human performance in US Naval aviation.
• Collect, analyze, and model epidemiological data; conduct laboratory and field data collections; design experiments.
• Communicate research findings through publications and presentations.
