  • Conduct public health surveillance and epidemiological investigations for opioid misuse trends in Florida.
  • Monitor trends in overdose events and link local investigations with state and federal efforts.
  • Develop and implement mitigation actions and evaluate their impact.
  • Document changes as the opioid response plan is implemented.
  • Perform related duties as required.
