Job summary

GAP Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced epidemiologist to lead advanced analytic work for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's CORVD, supporting investigations, dashboards, publications, and rapid-turn decision support.

The role involves developing analytic datasets, performing multivariate analyses, creating clear written briefs, and collaborating with CDC stakeholders while ensuring data security and privacy. A Bachelor's in public health is required; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 10 years of demonstrated experience performing advanced epidemiologic/statistical analyses.
  • Bachelor's degree in public health or related field.
  • Proficiency in SAS and/or R for analysis and reporting.
  • Strong ability to translate analysis into clear written products and briefings.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with CDC stakeholders; maintain confidentiality and data security.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust suitability and comply with CDC policies.

Responsibilities

Position Objective

Lead and execute advanced epidemiologic analyses and data-driven products for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Coronavirus and Other Respiratory Viruses Division (CORVD) supporting investigations, dashboards, publications, and rapid-turn decision support.

Duties and Responsibilities
