Job summary

The State of South Carolina Department of Public Health is seeking a epidemiologist/data analyst to collaborate on data-driven health products and analyses supporting opioid-related responses. The role disseminates visualizations including dashboards and infographics to stakeholders and targeted populations.

You will lead epidemiologic analyses, work with grant deliverables, and provide data leadership while promoting equity and evidence-based policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related field.
• A Doctoral degree in epidemiology, or advanced training in applied epidemiology may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, interpret, and report epidemiologic data.
• Visualize data products from dashboards to infographics for diverse populations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet grant deliverables and inform policy impact.
