Job summary

Talentola is seeking a senior Healthcare Data Architect to serve as SME for EPIC Clarity, Caboodle, and HDM, and to lead discovery, modeling, and analytics across patient, provider, claims, and revenue cycle data domains.

You will design scalable data warehouses, support Databricks and Azure Data Factory pipelines, and drive governance, quality, and lineage initiatives while mentoring technical teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Expert in EPIC Clarity and Caboodle with analytics support experience.
• Deep knowledge of HDM and healthcare data architecture.
• Experience with Clinical, Claims, Provider, Patient, and Revenue Cycle data domains.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling (LDM, PDM, Dimensional).
• Hands-on with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise healthcare data warehouses and marts.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Validation.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EPIC Clarity, Caboodle, and Healthcare Data Models (HDM).
• Lead healthcare data discovery, source-to-target mapping, and enterprise data modeling initiatives.
• Design, develop, and optimize healthcare data marts, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
• Support data engineering teams in building scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and SQL-based technologies.
• Define and implement data quality, data governance, data lineage, and validation frameworks.
• Collaborate with business, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to deliver healthcare insights and analytics solutions.
• Drive healthcare data architecture initiatives supporting patient, provider, claims, clinical, and revenue cycle data domains.
• Support AI and Agentic AI initiatives by enabling trusted, governed, and scalable healthcare data foundations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and best practices around healthcare data management, analytics, and reporting platforms.
• Mentor technical teams on healthcare data models, data governance, and enterprise data architecture standards.

Mandatory skills

• Strong expertise in EPIC Clarity and Caboodle with hands-on experience supporting healthcare analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Deep understanding of Healthcare Data Models (HDM) and healthcare data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Clinical, Claims, Provider, Patient, and Revenue Cycle data domains.
• Advanced experience in SQL and Data Modeling, including Logical Data Models (LDM), Physical Data Models (PDM), and Dimensional Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise healthcare data warehouses, analytics platforms, and data marts.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Validation frameworks.
• Experience leading healthcare data discovery, source-to-target mapping, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities.
• Experience working with Agentic AI or AI-driven analytics initiatives leveraging healthcare data platforms..

Good to Have Skills

• EPIC Clarity and/or Caboodle Certification.
• Experience working with large healthcare providers and payer organizations.
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture and modern healthcare data platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise AI, GenAI, and advanced healthcare analytics solutions.
• Experience leading large-scale healthcare data modernization and transformation programs.
