ChristianaCare seeks a professional to configure and optimize the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module within a hybrid work model, residing within commutable distance to our facilities in Delaware/Maryland region.

You will collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to translate requirements into system configurations, develop documentation, and train end-users. Prior Epic Resolute Billing experience is preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience with Epic systems or laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Knowledge of hospital billing processes and revenue cycle management.
• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification preferred for external candidates.

Responsabilités

• Configure and optimize the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module to align with organizational workflows and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users, including billing staff and financial administrators.
• Special responsibilities include contract management, maintenance of the charge description master, and charge router.
• Provide go-live support and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
• Offer ongoing support and maintenance for the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module post-implementation.
• Create and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure accurate configuration.
• Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Assist in the development of reports and dashboards to monitor billing metrics.

Role Overview

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics or a related field preferred.
• 2 - 3 years of experience working with Epic systems or laboratory information systems.
• High School diploma with 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of hospital billing processes and revenue cycle management.
• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification preferred for external candidates.

• Configure and optimize the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module to align with organizational workflows and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical, financial, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, and training materials.
• Conduct training sessions for end‑users, including billing staff and financial administrators, to ensure effective use of the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module.
• Special responsibilities include contract management, maintenance of the charge description master, and charge router.
• Provide go‑live support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
• Offer ongoing support and maintenance for the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module post‑implementation.
• Create and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure accurate configuration.
• Identify and resolve issues discovered during testing phases, including unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Assist in the development of reports and dashboards to monitor billing metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Epic Resolute Hospital Billing module.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.

#LI-SM2 Annual Compensation Range $87,588.80 - $140,129.60
