Job summary

Techfirefly is seeking an Epic Radiant Team Lead for a remote, PST-hours contract. The role will split roughly 50/50 between team leadership and hands-on Radiant build and configuration, overseeing a team of six and coordinating with Radiology, clinical stakeholders, IT leadership, and other app teams.

The position supports ongoing Radiant projects, upgrades, and production needs with limited travel and a 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated.

Qualifications

• Active Epic Radiant certification required.
• 5+ years of hands-on Epic Radiant experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong hands-on Radiant build, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization experience.
• Ability to balance team leadership with hands-on technical work.
• Experience supporting a large, complex health system or academic medical center strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work PST hours.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Job description

A large academic health system is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Team Lead to oversee a team of six while remaining hands‑on with Radiant build and configuration. The role will be approximately 50% team leadership and 50% hands‑on technical/build work.

Location: Remote – Must work PST hours

Duration: 6-month initial contract with extensions anticipated through 12/31/2027

Pay Rate: $90/hour on W2

Travel: Minimal; approximately 1–2 trips per year for up to one week
