Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking an Epic PB Analyst to support PB Application and related business systems within the Clinical Information Systems team. Under limited supervision, you will configure, test, and maintain the Epic PB module, participate in end-user design, and support rollout through testing, training content, and live-site support.

This role involves on-call support and coordinating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Health Care field, or equivalent related experience.
• Certification in EPIC PB (Professional Billing) required.
• Experience with physician coding or Epic Resolute Billing preferred.
• Experience in healthcare ambulatory setting preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of Epic PB functionality and revenue cycle workflows.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, reports, and technical issues in Epic software.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical leadership, IT to identify root causes of issues.
• Submit system change requests, track enhancements, and participate in upgrades.
• Develop efficient workflows and claims edits; design solutions for revenue cycle systems.
• Generate reporting dashboards for PB Coding leadership and external customers.
• Coordinate cross-department training and end-user education.
