Job summary

Angry Crab Shack is seeking a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen in Georgia. You will report to kitchen leaders and work 35-40 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

The role requires following recipes, safety standards, and teamwork to deliver high-quality meals. Responsibilities include food production and plating, ingredient prep, station coverage, and assisting with opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Stand for 4-10 hours and move around the kitchen floor
• Must have proper food safety knowledge and practices

Responsibilities

• Food production and plating for restaurant functions
• Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes
• Handle supplies and assist with preps and pars
• Check freshness of food and ingredients
• Maintain temperatures and equipment during shifts
• Train and work at each station until signed off by supervisors
• Cook during lunch and dinner rushes
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Keep kitchen area, equipment and utensils clean
• Take direction from managers and team leaders
