Job summary

Talent Groups is seeking an experienced Epic Interoperability Consultant to lead senior‑level analysis, design, implementation, and support for healthcare integration solutions. You will serve as a technical SME for Epic Bridges, HL7 interfaces, FHIR APIs, and Epic Web Services.

The role requires leading complex interoperability efforts across business, clinical, operational, and technical teams, with on‑call and on‑site collaboration as needed. 12‑month engagement with potential for extension.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 5+ years of healthcare IT experience focused on systems integration and interoperability.
Minimum 3+ years of Epic Bridges experience.
Experience implementing and supporting HL7 interfaces in production healthcare environments.
Experience with FHIR APIs and Web Services integrations.
Epic Bridges Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and support Epic Bridges interfaces utilizing HL7 v2.x messaging standards.
Configure and implement Epic FHIR APIs, SMART on FHIR applications, and Epic Web Services.
Gather and translate business and technical requirements into integration specifications.
Lead interface design sessions and technical workshops with stakeholders.
Provide advanced support for production interfaces and API solutions.
Lead interoperability workstreams for new implementations and upgrades.
Develop and maintain integration specifications, runbooks, and testing plans.
