Qualifications

• 2+ years of game testing experience.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong QA knowledge and software testing lifecycle.
• Excellent bug reporting writing skills.
• Experience drafting and managing test cases.
• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, Confluence or equivalents.
• Experience with Visual Studio build files.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Higher education in technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Play assigned game(s) to completion.
• Document glitches and bugs in bug-tracking system.
• Execute pre-written test cases.
• Rate and recommend game additions or modifications.
• Analyze test results and contribute to test content documentation.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and reports based on client specifications.
• Serve as technical lead contributing to the test team.
• Assist in test environment setup and teardown.
• Coach junior staff and guide decision making.
• Be the main client liaison to prioritize testing requirements.
• Lead test teams on projects informally.
• Document basic user and systems manuals.
• Provide feedback on progress and professional growth.
• Continuously improve testing practices and hardware knowledge.
