Job summary

Interim Healthcare in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Electronic Prescription Prior Authorization (ePA) Specialist (MA/CMA/RMA/LPN) to support a centralized Medication Prior Authorization team handling EPIC In Basket work. This role requires 1+ year of EPIC prior authorizations, strong Epic proficiency, and excellent organization and communication.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with no direct patient care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year processing medication prior authorizations within EPIC.
• MA, CMA, RMA, or active LPN required.
• Strong Epic proficiency, including In Basket workflows.
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of medication prior authorizations.
• Review clinical documentation and submit authorization requests.
• Track requests and follow up on additional information; assist with denials/appeals.
• Use Epic, RightFax, softphone, and related systems.
• Coordinate with providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies.
