Southeast Health is seeking an Epic Client Systems Administrator to support Epic applications and the behind-the-scenes servers that keep Hyperspace Web, MyChart and Interconnect running. You will manage, troubleshoot, and upgrade Epic components while maintaining VMware and load-balancing infrastructure in a healthcare setting.
The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, Epic certification, and an Associates degree (Bachelor's preferred).

Epic Client Systems Administrators (ECSA) are responsible for client facing applications and the back-end servers that support them. ECSAs are responsible to maintain, troubleshoot and fix servers that comprise the Web and Services stack. These servers host applications like Hyperspace Web, MyChart, Interconnect and many more. ECSAs are responsible for ensuring client applications are available to end users and are maintained in accordance with Epic best practices and SEH standards. They are also responsible for maintaining backend hardware/software that is crucial for this operation, including but not limited to VMware servers, and the load balancing servers. This requires a high level of knowledge of Server Virtualization, Web Server administration, Software Deployment, and interoperability configuration.
All applicants are required to take the Epic pre-requisite testing and meet acceptable scoring requirements for consideration for positions.
Epic certification is required component for all Epic analysts. Employees will be provided training and multiple opportunities to obtain the certification within a designated time frame.
Two (2) to four (4) years of relative analyst experience, preferably within a large healthcare environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of multiple hospital department operations and computer applications is preferred.
Experience with VMware, Microsoft Server Administration, Load Balancing, Web Services & Printing Server Management preferred.
Experience using Epic at any capacity is a plus
Associates degree, Associate IT degrees, 3rd party information technology certifications, along with comparable experience considered.
Bachelor's degree from accredited university in MIS, Business Administration, Information Systems, or any clinically related degree is highly preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical and business workflows in a hospital and ambulatory setting are highly preferred.

As projects and priorities dictate, must be available and willing to work non-standard business hours such as evenings, nights, weekends, and holiday's if/when necessary (required) and take after hours call on rotation with other analysts.
