Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Lead with Project Management experience to drive healthcare IT initiatives. You will craft detailed project plans, orchestrate status updates, and coordinate with Operations and client teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on EpicCare Ambulatory implementations, data workflows, and cross-functional collaboration, with on-site work 3 days per week in Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; or Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Healthcare IT in an EpicCare Ambulatory Leader role.
  • EpicCare Ambulatory certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed project plans from end-user information and obtain sign-off from Operations.
  • Maintain executive presence and concise status reporting to client resources.
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive complex projects to successful delivery.
  • Lead status updates and resource assignments based on team skill.
  • Assist with analysis and design of new business workflows and high-level specs.
  • Support data mapping, system configuration, and testing activities.
  • Serve as liaison between client Epic team and Accenture tech leads.

You are:

An experienced EpicCare Ambulatory Certified Lead with Project Management Experience.

The Work:
  1. Experience with project plan creation: Take end user information to create a very detailed scope and get sign off from the Operations team; Create a detailed Excel project plan and DRIVE through status calls as well as individual status updates you make sure to stay on top of.
  2. Executive presence: Portray competence and confidence to the Operations / Client resources; Be concise and clear in escalations and status reporting.
  3. Comfort with ambiguity: Every project will have some level of new complexity that you will need to figure out in order to deliver the project; Be prepared to dig into some areas to figure out how to do the standard.
  4. A strong DRIVER personality - Drive status updates and to understand the intricacies of what is needed.
  5. Assist with the analysis and design of new business workflows.
  6. Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases. Assign resources to projects based off skill and mastery.
  7. Provide input into high level functional specifications.
  8. Participate in quality management reviews of the design and performance of work products to ensure they fulfill the requirements.
  9. Perform or advise on system configuration and integration setup and assist with testing activities.
  10. Serve as an intermediary with client's Epic team and Accenture tech leads to support bilateral understanding of data structures, workflows and technology capabilities and limitations.
  11. Assist in the development and documentation of data requests and source to target mapping.
  12. Other duties as assigned. This work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.

This role is located in one of the following locations and will require on-site 3 days per week. Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX

Here is what you need:
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Healthcare IT in an EpicCare Ambulatory Leader role
  • Experience and certification in EpicCare Ambulatory

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in at least 1 full implementation of Epic
  • Experience in leading multiple teams through separate iterations of projects
  • Experience with people management and adherence to business standards.
  • Experience in Epic MyChart, Healthy Planet, Epic Beacon, EpicCare Link, Epic Dermatology, Home Health, Kaleidoscope, Willow Ambulatory, or Wisdom.
  • Program or Project Management Experience
  • Experience reporting accountability for projects/programs to executive leadership
  • Experience working with requirement gathering from Clinical leadership

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
