Harris Health seeks an Epic Business Systems Analyst II to ensure that the functional areas' needs are reflected in the Information Systems Department. This role supports Epic applications and collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows within the Harris Health System.

Required is a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of healthcare IT experience, with Epic certification preferred. The job entails on-site work with after-hours availability and telecommute options as needed.

Job Summary

The Epic Business Systems Analyst II ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic applications deployed within the Harris Health System.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors degree OR Four (4) years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment.

Certification for at least one Epic Application preferred.

Work Experience

Two (2) years of IT OR One (1) year Hospital/Health Care Organizations.

Communication Skills

Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)

Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking)

Writing / Reports

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical, Design, Research, Statistical

Work Schedule: On Call, Eligible for Telecommute

Other Requirements

Be available to work on site (after hours) as needed.

Experience In a Hospital Or Clinic Setting Preferred.

Experience Supporting an Electronic Medical Record System

Healthcare Information Technology experience.

Understanding of functional processes and business rules related to the applications being implemented/supported.

Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines

Understands the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported
