Job summary

Harris Health System in Houston seeks an Epic Business Systems Analyst I to ensure that the operational interests of their functional areas are represented in day-to-day IT operations. This role supports Epic applications deployed across Harris Health.

The analyst will work with clinicians and administrators, analyze business rules, and contribute to system optimization, reporting, and data integrity across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of healthcare experience.
• 1 year of work experience in hospital/health care organizations preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare IT and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent operational interests in day-to-day IT operations for Epic applications.
• Support and maintain Epic applications deployed across Harris Health.
• Analyze business rules and workflows to optimize system usage and data integrity.
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrators to ensure effective IT solutions.

Job Summary

Epic Business Systems Analyst I ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Department. This role supports the Epic applications deployed within Harris Health System.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors degree OR High School Diploma or GED (AND) Four (4) years of related experience in a Healthcare environment.

Work Experience: One (1) Year Work Experience in Hospital/Health Care Organizations. (Preferred)

Understanding of functional processes and business rules related to the applications being implemented/supported.
