Job summary

Gravity IT Resources seeks an Epic Beacon Protocol Builder to design, implement, and support Epic applications with a focus on improving patient care, research, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist or nurse with advanced degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Epic Beacon certification required.
• Epic Data Courier Badge required or similar credential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic applications.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning software, hardware, interfaces, and databases.
• Monitor system performance and support ongoing optimization.
• Perform QA and integrated testing to ensure reliability and standards.
• Support and develop application enhancements and reports aligned with clinical priorities.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and build specifications.
• Provide operational support for assigned applications.
• Facilitate meetings and present build updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior analysts.

Role Overview

You will contribute to designing, building, implementing, and supporting Epic applications that enhance patient care, research, and operational performance. You will work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, support moderately complex initiatives, and mentor junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic applications, including moderately complex system components within an Epic environment
• Troubleshoot issues spanning software, hardware, interfaces, and databases
• Monitor system performance and support ongoing optimization
• Perform quality assurance and integrated testing to ensure reliability and adherence to organizational standards
• Support and develop application enhancements and reports aligned with clinical and operational priorities
• Develop and maintain system documentation and build specifications
• Provide operational support for assigned applications
• Facilitate meetings and present build updates and recommendations to stakeholders
• Mentor and share knowledge with new and junior analysts

Required Qualifications

• PharmD or DNP, or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or Nursing plus 6 additional years of experience
• Current, active Epic Beacon certification
• Epic Data Courier Badge
• Active RN or Pharmacist license
• 5+ years of pharmacy or clinical oncology nursing practice
• 5+ years of Epic system build experience, including successful implementations
• High-complexity experience specifically within Epic Beacon
