Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX seeks an experienced engineer to provide engineering development, oversight, project execution and project management responsibilities. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers and supervise design deliverables.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Construction teams, expediting technical reviews, and ensuring compliance with industry codes (ASME, ASCE, API, IEEE) throughout the EPC lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas facility construction.
• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, civil, electrical, or chemical).
• If no degree, 10 years’ work experience will be considered in lieu of Engineering Degree.
• Experience with industry codes (ASME, ASCE, API, IEEE).
• Familiarity with the life cycle of executing EPC projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering technical development, oversight, project execution and project management responsibilities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.
• Supervise and guide teams in the preparation and coordination of design drawings.
• Review and prepare all project engineering and design deliverables.
• Manage the interface between Requisitioning Engineers and Supply Chain.
• Coordinate and expedite technical review of third party major equipment submittals.
• Facilitate weekly progress and schedule forecast updates.
• Coordinate with Construction teams for RFIs and general construction support.
