Job summary

CB&I is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our regional operations team in Illinois. You will lead financial management, planning, and scheduling for complex EPC projects, develop budgets and forecasts, manage progress measurement, and report to the Project Manager.

Travel to project sites may be required, and you will collaborate with finance, estimating, and client representatives. The role emphasizes accurate cost control, schedule integrity, and adherence to contractual

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
5+ years of EPC experience in the Project Controls discipline.
Experience with Project Controls schedule and cost software.
MS Excel and Databases proficiency.
Willing and able to travel for business trips.

Responsibilities

Create CBS and budgets from estimates; manage budgets through contract execution and closeout.
Lead WBS development and project schedule; monitor critical path and schedule impacts.
Develop and report financial forecasts; support invoicing and client reporting.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and internal controls.
