Job summary

Hydrogeologic, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Program Manager II in Overland Park, Kansas. The role leads EPA contracts across CLIN 2, Regions 4–7, ensuring delivery aligned with client expectations and contract requirements.

The position offers in-office, hybrid, or remote options with occasional travel to project sites and HGL offices. A background in environmental or engineering sectors and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing large government contracts and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Project.
• PMI PMP, PG, or PE certification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPA contracts within CLIN 2, Regions 4-7 and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Manage EPA-related contracts and a team of staff with mentorship.
• Coordinate with proposal development, contracts, chemistry, data management to support regions.
• Ensure EPA projects are delivered on time and within budget per contract scope.
• Serve as Senior Project Manager and uphold QA/QC and safety standards.
• Engage EPA clients and state/local agencies to maintain satisfaction.
• Organize EPA proposals and support business development for EPA portfolio.
