Job summary

OHSU seeks an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to support invasive EP procedures, including device implantation, electrophysiology studies and ablations. The role involves coordinating pre-procedure planning, data collection and ensuring monitoring data quality.

The position requires one year in a cardiac cath lab, RN/RCIS/ARRT/RCES/IBHRE/NASPE credentials, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS/PALS within six months. Work across OHSU Marquam Hill and CHH2 with on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• RN, RCIS, ARRT, RCES, IBHRE or NASPE.
• One year of experience working in a cardiac Cath lab environment.
• Attainment of RCES within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certificate within 30 days of hire or prior to independent practice, whichever comes first.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for arrhythmia procedures, including implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, electrophysiology studies, and arrhythmia ablations, with pre-procedure planning and data gathering.
• Oversee data storage, collection and analysis; prepare data for conferences and reports; support IT/training for cardiology systems.
• Possibly cross-train to Cardiac Cath Lab as needed.
